Types Of Event

Re-enactment events take several different forms, each affecting how we display:

Living History /

Re-enactment Displays

Group members 'capturing' the enemy for interrogation

These events are the most common type we attend. Usually, many groups are invited and set up individual stands with equipment and display information. Each group displays differently, with others digging trenches, some creating vehicle depots or aid stations. This allows each group to put its unique spin into the hobby.

All group members present themselves as real soldiers from a pre determined time (D- Day 1944 for example), we address each other in (semi) formal military terms (Sir, Sergeant, Corporal etc) and conduct 'day to day life for a soldier' on the stand. These kind of events really give an authentic feel of what war time life was like for  soldiers of the time.

When we have the members and display available we will also have a show and tell display, demonstrating the minimum equipment just one soldier had to carry when they landed on the beaches, it's more than you might think!

Re-enactment Displays/ Presentations

These events we will have primarily a show and tell display, demonstrating the minimum equipment just one soldier had to carry when they landed on the beaches, in addition we will also have information about 2nd Battalion Royal Warwicks and their role on 6th and 7th June 1944, in the initial invasion and then fateful attack on Lebisey Wood, north of Caen, which is the time period period the group primarily portrays. For more information on this please go to our 'History' section.

The group will also represent themselves as re-enactors describing events from a third, rather than first person perspective. These display are more aimed as informative directly to the visiting public and are perfect for presentations or small representation at indoor events.

The group also has the ability to represent a range of Regimental uniform and equipment from the Napoleonic era through to first Gulf War. Giving you an idea of how the modern British soldier has evolved over the last two hundred years.

If you are interested in booking the group to display/ present at your event then please see our 'Contact Us' page and get in touch.
